Passage: John 2:1-12
We're beginning a new sermon series on vocation. At the center of the this topic is the question of what the church is called to be. In this sermon we look at how Jesus came not to offer us a new religion, but to offer us a new life. The heart of the vocation of the church, then, is not to do religion well, but to live a new kind of life. This paradigm shift has all sorts of implications for our lives.
I hope the beginning of this exploration of vocation is helpful.
